yah actually I was astonished to see how Gears had a MIcrosoft studios intro in the beginning like they had their own people help make the game. So since microsoft owns bungie now I wonder, but it hardly matters because you know this game is gonna be insane.
well yah actually I was hoping it'd be cutscene material. That's basically what you described, it's somewhere inbetween. For example the gears commercial has the guy make facial expressions and stuff that couldn't be done ingame.

Considering the E3 trailer was 100% gameplay, and that looked amazing. Now the game will ship about 1 year and 5 months later, how can you be dissapointed with that.
